Product Description
Product Description
Bridge Expansion Joint, Modular Expansion JointFeatures:
1. Sturdy and reliable
The side beams and middle beams of this expansion joint are crafted from robust 16Mn rolled steel, ensuring they endure the vertical load of heavy and high-traffic vehicles along with horizontal impacts. These beams are securely welded to the embedded steel in the bridge deck anchoring members, effectively transferring vehicle loads to the abutment. This results in a structurally resilient and long-lasting solution, ideal for bridges designed to handle loads of over 20 tons for steam and 120 tons for hanging.
2. Sensitive expansion
This device features a displacement control system utilizing spring elements such as rubber springs, PTFE pressure bearings, or inclined support members. The result is uniform displacement with minimal friction during expansion and contraction within each group.
3. Smooth bridge deck, comfortable traveling
Our system ensures free expansion and contraction displacement of the beam while forming a seamless bridge deck joint. This provides a smooth and comfortable driving experience.
4. Water stopping and corrosion prevention
Neoprene rubber sealing strips are embedded in the grooves of each steel beam group. These strips are custom-processed according to the bridge's width, providing excellent elastic deformation, waterproofing, and dustproofing functions. This protects the internal components of the expansion joints and the underlying bearings from erosion.
5. Large displacement, convenient selection
Designed and manufactured according to a modular system, this device offers displacement options ranging from 80 to 1200mm. Bridge design and construction departments can select the appropriate module based on the actual expansion and contraction needs of the bridge superstructure.
Telescopic Resistance:
Single-seam expansion joint
1. The compression force is 0.1KN/m during contraction.
2. The longitudinal shear force within the working range of the expansion joint is 2.0KN/m.
Multi-seam expansion joint
1. Compression force during contraction 0.1KN/m
2. Tensile force during stretching is 4.0KN/m
